Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to the North Rosedale Ratepayers’ Association (NRRA). This policy provides the NRRA policy on privacy and confidentiality of personal information. The NRRA continues to bring new services and offerings to our membership and through the use of technology and email can better communicate in a more effective and timely manner. With up-to-date personal information, including email addresses, the NRRA can communicate with the membership, one to one. Additionally, the use of email can reduce the overall NRRA administrative costs.

This policy ensures that all NRRA members are comfortable knowing their personal information is secure, confidential, and will not be disclosed to any outside parties. This document summarizes the information practices for the NRRA Web sites and membership information, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

Personal Member Information Management

In general, NRRA members share their personal contact information for purposes related to membership including billing for annual dues, newsletter mailings, notice of meetings or events. The personal information gathered typically includes your name, address, phone number or e-mail id. NRRA management of personal, membership information follows the following policy:

Personal information will be treated as confidential within the NRRA and will only be used for the purposes of membership communications as necessary for the NRRA Board of Directors to fulfill their obligations to the membership. This will include mailings for annual dues, newsletter, meeting notice communications (e.g., Annual Meeting, Special Interest Meetings) and any other NRRA matters that the NRRA Board deems advisable to communicate to its members. Mailings may be in either electronic or hard-copy form for official NRRA sanctioned communication only.

Personal information will be kept secure and will not be put at risk of being shared, distributed, or viewed by any parties other than those approved by the NRRA Board.

If members do not want to be contacted, they can be removed from any lists and not receive any mailings. This status will require official notice from the ratepayer to the NRRA Secretary-Treasurer.

Personal information will not be shared with outside parties or agencies.

Personal information will not be used for solicitations or marketing programs outside of official NRRA activities.
